Angie Harmon entered the world of fashion and entertainment after winning the national cover contest for the Seventeen magazine. She was 15 years old at the time, and that prompted her to work as a model after finishing high school. Angie Harmon then found a good modeling career and posed for magazines such as Vogue, Esquire and Bazaar. She also went to Europe to do a string of modeling gigs, and became the endorser of famous brands such as Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani.

Since her childhood dream was to become an actress, Angie Harmon returned to the United States and settled in New York to study acting. She soon landed a lead role in David Hasselhoff’s “Baywatch Nights.” She found fame on the said series, and this was followed by another TV series, “C-16: FBI” in 1997, this time with Eric Roberts. She also tried the big screen by working on the indie film “Lawn Dogs,” which became a hit at prestigious contests such as the Toronto Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival.

Not long after, Angie Harmon returned to television and found more fame and recognition, this time as Assistant District Attorney Abbie Carmichael in the long running law drama “Law & Order.” She also appeared on the show’s spinoff, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” in 1999 and 2000.

After leaving the show in 2001, Angie Harmon took a rest from work and focused on her family. Not long after, she made roles on the film “Good Advice,” and the TV movie “Video Voyeur: The Susan Wilson Story.” She also provided vocals for the character Commissioner Barbara Gordon in the animated series “Batman Beyond.”

In 2003, Angie Harmon starred in the flick “Agent Cody Banks,” which starred Frankie Muniz and Hillary Duff. This was followed by “Bob the Butler,” this time with Brooke Shields and Tom Green. In 2006, Angie Harmon starred in the suspense drama “End Game,” alongside Cuba Gooding, Jr. She as well starred in the pilot episode of “Secrets of a Small Town,” and “Inconceivable.” These were followed by “Women’s Murder Club” in 2007.
